ABOUT

The Oxford Vascular Collaterals

The Oxford Vascular Collaterals has been set up as an online vascular learning resource for vascular healthcare professionals. The programme is created with the UK Vascular Surgical curriculum in mind but all are welcome to make use of this resource.

The Curriculum Sessions are a collection of lectures provided by a range of vascular specialists including vascular surgeons, guest speakers, vascular anaesthetists, interventional radiologists, vascular peri-operative physicians and vascular scientists. The programme aims to cover topics on the vascular surgical curriculum, topics of interest and important clinical questions.

The Journal Club will cover the 20 seminal papers published as part of the Vascular Surgical Curriculum in addition to topics of interest. These sessions are presented by vascular, general surgery and interventional radiology trainees but feature discussions with consultant vascular surgeons and interventional radiologists. The sessions aim to link the evidence behind common vascular practices, related to key curriculum topics, as well as help you to develop critical appraisal skills.

The 6 Vascular Duplex Modules have been carefully designed with the vascular surgical curriculum in mind and aim to provide a theoretical basis prior to practical duplex training.
